The Yanks acted like an extreme AssHat by deleting the league....I'm still having problems remembering that actually happened. AngelsGM in the league that was deleted here, and good with the idea of a total redraft. I like the idea of upping the DL spots from 3 to 4, with the 40 major, 60 minor, 100 years, 100 salary start with 7 premeir minor league spots? still keep 3 waiver passes? Sorry... forgot the premiers... with 60 minors... i think we proposed 10 premiers 3 waiver passes now.. but we could go up to 4 if necessary... I have no problem with 4... as we seem to be going to 4 with DL

Yeah i think we should increase the waiver passes from 3 to 4, but that is just my opinion.

I think we should just use this year's salaries, pick a date, and from there see who is major league eligible and who isn't. We should get all owners in who still want to be in the league and then start drafting.
Also 60 minors is a little much to me... lol I know I had trouble filling 40...
I'm down for the $20 buy in. That would be a nice $320 pot to hand out to 1st, 2nd, 3rd.

If we wait... it will pretty much go through the offseason (the draft).... 60 is a lot... but with 16 teams it should be easier to fill rosters Plus... the time to figure salaries, etc is going to take quite a bit of time... easier to wait till the end of the year for major league eligibility... and I would rather have everything set (constitution, owners, money collected... before we start the draft) A big thing for me is to get another owner to handle paying the CBS fee and the money collection...... it gives the league another invested interest other than myself.

So I am not hearing of anyone disagreeing with the changes or proposals... so it looks like we are pretty much on target for what we want to do.
Josh has volunteered to be the assistant commissioner, handle the money collection and actually be the "buyer" for CBS. He and I would then have the permissions there to do "commish" stuff... add/drop, rosters, salaries, etc..... same process as bb.com. We will both be monitoring rosters here and as in baseball.com we will require consistency in the way the rosters are listed, etc for ease of tracking and searching for players you might be interested in, etc.
I will be handling the spreadsheet and setting all of that up... I have already begun the process of collecting salaries, etc for the offseason draft. The draft will be random and when we get all teams set, paid and named..lol.... we will do the name and number submission by a couple random owners for the draft order.
Looks like it is piecing together... once again we will most likely begin collecting money around mid August... early September... so that we can have everything set and paid for before we do the draft.
Any questions/suggestions... feel free to post

ANother thing to discuss as I am doing salaries here and from the past experiences in the other leagues..... it may be easiest to just round to the nearest $100,000 rather than $50,000... take out the $50,000 intervals all together.
Minimum salary of $300,000 and increases of $100,000 from there.....
What do you guys think?
A lot easier for each individual team bookkeeping and a lot easier to see what is wrong with a roster summary as well

I agree for the 100,000 intervals as opposed to the 50,000 intervals. Makes it easier to keep the rosters up to date.

Count me in (TigersGM in BB.com). All numbers seem reasonable so far. Would the players from this years amateur draft have longer contracts?

Would the players from this years amateur draft have longer contracts? yeah we would do it similar to the first year in bb.com when we allowed extensions to be given to players drafted in 2006 and 2005.... I belive it was a 6 year or 5 year contract
