Hmmm.... might have been easier to just go live? I'd consider changing my vote, but I just don't want to deal with larger rosters and the alternative (less teams with same roster sizes) doesn't seem right either.

I think we all have some playes that we would be happy to drop and absorb new ones.... if we retract to 12.
Whats wrong with having to make a decision between the free agent market and your roster?
Leave the rosters/cap alone.... and just do the retraction draft.

We could expand minors if we wanted as well.... what would that hurt?

12 team leagues are terrible. Trying to run 2 teams with the same rosters and caps defintely has no appeal. Retraction should not be an option.

I really can't remember what I voted for previously, but I am in agreement here that 12 team leagues are just too small. Each team just seems overpowered, I enjoyed this league and our other because of the size of the league and having to really work to add talent to a team.
Should everyone in this league post this league's message board address to baseball blogs or other fantasy leagues we are in until we fill the league?
What will help is exactly which teams are open if a new owner takes them in full, or which teams will be part of a new owner draft, and exactly how much money we are paying.
I think this may have been posted recently but I couldn't find it when looking.

I think this may have been posted recently but I couldn't find it when looking. The players that will be available in a "new owner draft" are in the retraction draft thread. We do not have full teams available anymore.... I am sure to speed it up... we have owners willing to take on more than one team. I, for one, will take on an additional team until a new owner is found so we can continue with the draft.

I will take a second team to speed things up, and relinquish them when we get a new owner

I'll change my vote if it is that important to start the draft now. I will keep the Twins team through the offseason (or an owner is found) but not during the regular season. That does not mean my opinion of 12 team leagues has changed in any way but maybe we can see how this season turns out and possibly expand to 16 again.
